Thesis Work | Saxophone's device | 2017
WindBack is an electroacoustic device for the augmentation of Saxophone based on feed-back phenomenon. WindBack is a member of the family of augmented instruments, since it uses technologies to extend the typical features of an instrument allowing the generation of new sonorities or interpretative techniques.
It was conceived by the composer Michelangelo Lupone for his piece “In sordina” and realized at CRM - Centro Ricerche Musicali di Roma.
